FLDI1/FLDI2 - Differential Water-Level control valve - Series 300

Dorot model “FLDI1/FLDI2” is an automatic, pilot controlled, level control valve, activated by the pressure of the pipeline.

The valve is mounted on the tank or reservoir inlet, below or above the requested water level .
The float pilot can either be assembled on the main valve (for above-level installation), or can be connected to the main valve by command tubes.
The standard valve closes when the water rises to the requested maximum level and opens when the water level drops to the preset minimum point.
High level opening/low level closing valves are supplied on request.

The Differential Float Valves are available in two versions:
  1. FLDI1, equipped with float pilot model 70-550, enabling  level differentials of 5-160cm (2”- 63”).
  2. FLDI2, equipped with float pilot model 70-610, enabling level differentials of 5-40cm (2”-16”).
The main valve is supplied in two models:
  • Model 30, 30A for medium pressure (up to 16 bar / 230 psi).
  • Model 31, 31A for high pressure (up to 25 bar / 350 psi).

FLDI - Differential Float Controlled Valve - Series 100

A float valve controls the main valve, closing it when the water reaches maximum level, and opening it when the water drops to its preset minimum level. The differential between the maximum and the minimum levels is adjustable. Optional Addition: Stepped Surge-Preventing Closure.

  • Accurate and repeatable differential level control
  • Adjustable differential
  • Fast response
  • Simple and reliable design
  • Easy installation and maintenance

AL - HYDROSTATIC-ALTITUDE CONTROL VALVE - Series 300

Mounted on the inlet  of the tank / reservoir, below the water level . The valve is activated by the hydrostatic pressure of the water level. It closes when the water rise to the requested maximal level, and opens fully when the water level drops to the preset minimal point. The differential between the water levels is adjustable.

AL - Altitude Pilot Controlled Valve - Series 100

The main valve is controlled by a highly sensitive pilot, located outside the tank. The pilot opens or closes the valve in response to the static pressure of the water. The pilot allows for differential adjustments between the maximum and minimum level. Optional Addition: Stepped Surge-Preventing Closure.

  • Accurate and repeatable differential level control
  • Fast response
  • Easy access - no float is located in the tank/reservoir
  • Simple and reliable design
  • Easy installation and maintenance

FLEL - Electric Float Controlled Valve - Series 100

An electric sensor float, located in the tank/reservoir, sends a command to a solenoid controlled valve. The main valve will fully open when the solenoid activated and will close drip tight when the solenoid de-energized, thus enabling accurate and reliable differential level control. Optional Addition: Stepped Surge-Preventing Closure.

  • Accurate and repeatable differential level control
  • Low power electric activation
  • Fast response
  • Simple and reliable design
  • Easy installation and maintenance

EC - Electronically - controlled valve (ConDor) - Series 300

Dorot Series 300 Electronic Control Valve (’30-EC’) is an automatic, solenoid control valve, activated by the pressure of the pipeline. The valve controls by the versatile DOROT “ConDor” controller that enables all control functions, or combination of functions, at extreme accuracy. Can be controlled by any pulse- activating controller.

  • Better performance:

Regulates at a stable mode, regardless of valve-size, down to near-zero flow. Thus, eliminating the need for a special low flow plug-design (such as ‘V-port’) or a bypass valve.

‘Floating’, low-friction internal-trim design, guided by unique LPT® device.

  • Increased reliability:

All control ports are fitted with SST sleeves for preventing corrosion-blockage

Pre-shaped reinforced diaphragm – for easier assembly and improved longevity.

  • Reduced periodic inspection\maintenance labor:

The control-trim is fitted with a self-flushing, inline control-filter.

Easy in-situ adjustment and maintenance.

  • Versatility:

A standard and simple single-chamber valve design, provides smooth operation.  Conversion to a double chamber is a patented option.

A recommended option is using the Dorot “ConDor” controller that enables the selection from a vast range of pre-programmed control functions and their combinations.

  • Can perform any control function
  • Highly accurate and reliable electronic control • Low power actuation
  • Simple and reliable design
  • Controlled by Dorot ConDor valve controller or by a third party controller

LCU - DLS - Battery-operated level controller

  • The LCU DLS is an electric device which enables activation of hydraulic valves, by means of a latching (pulse) solenoid, using standard 9V batteries.
  • The main purpose of the LCU DLS is to control the maximal and minimal water levels in tanks and reservoirs, using a very sensitive Pressure switch.
  • The LCU DLS valve is controlled at the ground level - so, unlike hydraulic float pilot located on the top level of the tank- it is not affected by the static pressure of the water level.
  • Manual activation of the valve, in case of malfunction, is enabled through the LCU DLS device and / or the main valve control circuit.
  • The two standard 9V batteries provide, approximately, one year of operation, assuming the system is activated twice an hour.
