PR - PRESSURE REDUCING - FIXED SET-POINT - Series 300

The Dorot Series 300 Pressure-Reducing (’30-PR’) valve, activated by the pressure of the pipeline, The valve reduces high upstream-pressure to a steady, pre-determined and lower downstream pressure, regardless of fluctuations in upstream-pressure or rate of flow. I case the downstream-pressure exceeds the set value, the valve will close drip-tight.

  • Better performance:

Regulates at a stable mode, regardless of valve-size, down to near-zero flow. Thus, eliminating the need for a special low flow plug-design (such as ‘V-port’) or a bypass valve.

‘Floating’, low-friction internal-trim design, guided by unique LPT® device.

PRM - DUAL SET-POINT Pressure reducing valve - Series 300

The Dorot Series 300 Duel set-point Pressure-Reducing (’30-PRM’) valve, is an automatic, pilot controlled pressure reducing valve.

The valve will regulate downstream pressure to one of two set-values. The set-value is selected by an electric command sent from a PLC controller to the solenoid-valve in the control-trim of the valve. Both pressure values can be easily adjusted by the user. The electric command can be optionally overridden by a manual selector valve.

PRM(HYMOD) - HYDRAULICALLY ACTUATED, FLOW-MODULATED - Series 300

Dorot model 'HyMod' is an automatic pilot controlled, flow-modulated pressure reducing valve activated by the pressure of the pipeline. The valve reduces upstream pressure to a downstream pressure that increases or decreases simultaneously with the demand flow. The pressure into the zone is continually adjusted according to the zone’s actual demand, thus compensating for the system loss. The pressure-flow profile can be adjusted The Dorot HyMod will control from no flow, to maximal full open flow without any chattering or slamming.

PR3W - Intermitent Low Supply pressure system - Series 300

Dorot model "PR(3w)" is an automatic, pilot controlled, pressure reducing valve, activated by the pressure of the pipeline. The valve reduces upstream pressure to a steady, predetermined downstream pressure, regardless of fluctuation of upstream pressure and flow rate. Should downstream pressure exceed the required set-point (due, for example, to a halt in pipeline flow), the valve closes drip-tight. If upstream pressure falls to the preset downstream value, and throttling is unwanted, the valve fully opens, with negligible pressure loss. The valve’s response to pressure variation is very rapid, due to its double chamber control. 

The main valve is supplied in two models:
  • Model 30D, 30AD for medium pressure (up to 16 bar / 230 psi)
  • Model 31D,31AD for high pressure (up to 25 bar / 350 psi)

PR [D] - Differential Pressure Reducing valve - Series 300

Dorot model PR[D] is an automatic, pressure reducing valve, activated by the pressure of the pipeline. The valve creates a fixed ratio between upstream pressure and downstream pressure, regardless of fluctuations of upstream pressure and flow rate. The valve is a double chamber [D]  type.
 
Its control chamber is permanently connected to the downstream. Downstream pressure, applied to the top side of the diaphragm, creates hydraulic power which is balanced by the power created by upstream pressure to the seal disc. The area difference between the diaphragm and the seal disc determines the pressure ratio of approximately 2.7:1. No other control device is needed. Should downstream pressure exceed the above mentioned ratio (due, for example, to a halt in the pipeline flow), the valve closes drip tight. The valve instantly closes when downstream pressure exceeds upstream pressure, serving as a check valve.
 
The main valve is supplied in two models:
  • Model 30D, 30AD for medium pressure (up to 16 bar / 230 psi)
  • Model 31D, 31AD for high pressure (up to 25 bar / 350 psi).

PRM(Pu) - Dual Set-Point, Hydraulically-Modulated PRV

Dorot model PRM(Pu) is an automatic pilot controlled, pressure reducing valve activated by the pressure of the pipeline.
The valve reduces upstream pressure to a dual set-point downstream pressure, that shifts automatically in response to changes in the upstream pressure.
The upstream-pressure normally corresponds to the demand in the network, so modulating the downstream-pressure in response to that, enables reducing the pressure when the demand is low and increasing pressure when the demand
is high. As the demand may change anytime, unlike timer-control, this solution will optimize the leakage-savings while assuring customer service.

The Dorot PRM(Pu) will control from no flow, to maximal full open flow without any chattering or slamming.
